I know that my dad has always been against my music because he said its too loud. My mom though was very supportive of what I do even though I know I drive her insane with my Mapex Drums. She actually gave this to me as a gift and my dad cannot be mad if I use it because it’s my mom’s gift. Plus, it is really expensive. My mom really believe that I can make it and that I have a future in it. She has always been a support system for me and I know my dad too, he just doesn’t show it well.

Visiting Aunt

I have always enjoyed visiting my aunt’s house uptown because of her really beautiful swimming area. She said she spent money for the raypak pool heater so that it will stay warm even on winter time. I get to visit here more often than I visit my grandmother and I feel guilty about it but grandma lives so far away and aunt is just a bus away. Anyway, my cousins and I always have this pool party once a month and even if we are only relatives going there, it is so much fun.

Always the bridesmaid

I can’t believe people are getting married! I have friends and office mates left and right who are getting married in all weekends of the next two months. Why are people so in love they wanna get married? Oh how bitter those words are. I know it might hurt people but I am hurting too. I have always been a bridesmaid and I have five weekends on those two months I am a bridesmaid. But I think of it this way, I get to wear different kinds of clothes, from dessy bridesmaid dresses and I get to wear it in different colors. How cool is that? The bride only gets to wear a long white gown and that is it! Oh I am still lucky, huh?

I talked to my dad about leds and he has so much to say about it. I was curious about the change in the things around the house and this might be a good chance of asking him why. Almost all the products at home have leds especially the lights and he said that these lights are cheaper and saves electricity more. So I guess my dad doesn’t want to pay bills at a high price these days. Well, I want that also because we are saving the environment.

Maternity Stockings

When my sister got pregnant, all her clothes including her stockings so I needed to buy her stuff because she can’t get out of the house and do all the shopping thing. Good thing there are online shops so she can still see what we were shopping for. She needs compression stockings for pregnant women so that she can still go out not thinking of the varicose veins that are running through her legs. She is one sensitive pregnant woman, who will not be, right?

Simple everyday things

When everybody else was going for the designs and printed nursing scrubs, I was choosing the plain ones because I feel that when you are in printed scrubs especially of you are inside the emergency or surgery rooms, it looks inappropriate unless your patient is a kid. I mean, this is just my opinion and I normally just go with the plain ones even on regular clothes. Sometimes, people think of me as boring kind of person but I think I am just a simple girl who wants simple things in life.

Weekend Bonding

I had a very exciting weekend at my uncle’s house last week. We had so much bonding together with my cousins! I really hope that day won’t last but it still did. Maybe we can do things over again next week. The boys taught me to play yo yo. It was very interesting because I haven’t play one since I was a little kid. I didn’t have the courage and the patience to learn it then because it looks complicated to me. But looking at them play it really well made me think that maybe I can also do it. I wasn’t bad for a first timer my uncle said. A few more tries and I know I will learn it well.

Mom’s birthday

This year, Mother’s Day and my mom’s birthday is happening on the same day! This is very exciting because the family will be complete again and we will only give her one gift for that day! Kidding aside, I know a perfect way to find mom an unforgettable birthday gift here and that is in an online shopping store. There are flowers to choose from, chocolates, fruits etc. which I know she will love plus they are very affordable so even if I buy one or more of these, it will be worth it.

Boss’ Stuff

I always run errands for my boss, whether it is for the business or personal. I really don’t mind doing things for him because I know it is part of my job though it was not stated on my job description. He makes me buy stuff like dutch master cigars for himself, things like perfumes for his wife and toys for his kids. It is not really hard to find these things because online shopping is just a click away and my boss doesn’t mind if I go online for the rest of the work period. That is one beauty of my job.

I was shopping in the mall yesterday when a girl approached me and handed me a plastic business card. It was the first time I’ve seen one because most of the time I only see paper business cards. I thought maybe this is because most of the time, when paper gets wet, all information is lost. That is actually a bright idea for a card. She approached me because she wants me to buy some beauty products and that if I try and be satisfied, first package will be mine. I love shopping in malls especially if there’s free stuff.
